Conventional Drug Therapies

Multiple types of drug therapies are used to treat MBC.

They include

• targeted therapy,

• hormone therapy,

• chemotherapy

• immunotherapy

These treatments are systemic because they travel throughout the body. They are received through an IV into a vein, through a port , as an injection (shot) or orally as a pill or liquid.
