With over 17 years of nursing experience, Shontè is not only a skilled Nurse Practitioner but also a passionate advocate for quality of life improvements and scientific realism in cancer care. As a proud alumna of Bowie State University (BS) and Ball State University (MSN), Shontè’s educational journey has fueled her commitment to advocacy and healthcare excellence. Living with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, she is a testament to resilience and strength, determined to inspire and enact change through her advocacy.
Beyond healthcare, Shontè embraces a rich life as an Army spouse, a farmer, and an advocate for underserved communities, emphasizing inclusion and representation in all her endeavors. Her goal is clear: to elevate life quality for all through compassion, realistic expectations, and a relentless defiance of the odds.
