She was an intensely brilliant, magnetic, and vivacious person that filled every room with her laughter and effervescent personality. She was NOT to be contained. The way she lived her life spoke for itself and she lived her life on her terms and her terms alone. Chawnte' was a gym fanatic, an avid reader, world traveler, food and drink connoisseur, theater geek, Trekkie(Star Trek lover), movie buff, melophile, beach bum, outdoors woman, adored dogs, and gardener among many, many, many other things, too many to name.
Chawnte' cheerfully disseminated information pertaining to her experience as a Black woman in the Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) community across various platforms spanning numerous media outlets. She spoke at conferences, was featured in copious commercials and magazine publications. In addition to her passions, she was a staunch advocate for the MBC community and a champion for Black women.
